4 more months!!!!! April 5, 2011

Today it is exactly 4 months and 11 days until Alan comes home! I am so excited! The time has just flown by! It brings such a huge smile to my face when I think of how soon I will be held in his arms again!! Yes I am so in love with him!! Hence my Blog title! :) I feel like I am a little girl waiting for Christmas to come, so that she can tear open that present to find her favorite Barbie Doll!! I really can't wait until he gets home! The summer is going to fly by and he will be home before I know it!! To all those who don't know Alan and I have been dating for almost 4 years now! We dated for 2 years in High school and have been dating since. He left on his mission to Guatemala, Guatemala City South Mission almost 2 years ago on August 5! He has been doing so amazing! He seems to always be happy and loving life there! He says he is excited to come home but sad to leave all the people there! He really loves his mission! Alan and I met through our friends in High school my junior year and his senior year. I was actually dating his best friend at the time. ha ha! The first day I met him was when him and I and my boyfriend at the time all went to Cafe Rio he was the one driving because well he was the only one old enough! Ha ha! But they came and picked me up and I remember him turning around in his car to meet me and the first thing that I noticed was his amazing smile!! I know I am horrible, I was with his best friend and here I am falling in love with his smile and slowly falling in love with him!! Well obviously I broke it off with his best friend because things just weren't working and well it's high school! Alan and I started talking and flirting a little here and a little there! Summer came and we went on trek! And you will never guess.. he was my trek brother!!! When I found this out I was jumping up and down like a little girl inside when I found this out but just acted cool in front of him, and said something like Wow that's crazy! When really I was freaking out because I was totally crushing on him!! Well we spent every hour of trek together! That shows he really loves me because he has seen the worst of me! Stinky breath, hairy legs, outrageous outfits, and more! ha ha! And he still loves me!! Well we kinda hit if off on trek and flirted with each other pretty much every second of the day! We had a blast! A couple days after trek it was my 16th birthday! He took me out to see Pirates of the Caribbean, and of course I didn't pay any attention to the movie cause the whole time I was thinking about holding his hand! And he was too! (He told me later) I eventually held his hand!! After the movie we went to the adventure park behind our high school to just walk around and talk. Well it was dark and I was so scared! But we held hands and walked together, and it made me feel safe with him next to my side! I then felt a soft kiss on my cheek! He had leaned over and kissed me!! I then kissed him back on his cheek! I was so happy and giddy inside! I was so in love but kept trying to lie to myself and say I wasn't because I knew that all high school relationships ended with a break up and I just didn't want to waste my time and get hurt!! He kept asking me for us to date and I kept saying no! He bugged me for 3 months! And I loved every bit of those three months! He probably hated it! ha ha! But I am so grateful that he hung on there! Because I have no idea where I would be today with out him! He is the love of my life! My greatest blessing! My sweetheart!! I told him that night when we got together that I really didn't want to be hurt again and that I knew all HS relationships ended with a break up! He then promised me this which I have never forgotten! He said "Colleen I promise you, that our relationship will not end" I love him so much! Well he sure has kept that promise! I am so in love with him!! I cannot wait to be back in his arms again!! I miss you so much Alan! I love you!!
