We took a little trip with the family over to yellowstone. It was much needed. It was so nice to just get away from little Rexburg and go on a family camping trip. We had lots of fun! It was mostly just driving around to visit many Geysers, look for animals, a little swimming in the river, and family game time. We had a blast!
These are some of the geysers we saw. It was incredible how clear and blue some of them were. One thing I will tell you though is how disgusting they smell! If any of you have been to yellowstone and seen these you will know what I am talking about! They smell like rotten eggs! Like really bad!!! Ha ha but they sure are pretty!
Love my little sis!!
The steam is also really warm! It was kinda cold on some of the days so, it was nice to stand in front of them and warm up, besides the nasty smell you would get from them. ha ha!
Love my bothers face in this pic! ha ha!
Grandma, Mommy, and Emma! ;)
Aww I love him so much!!! :)
Emma is getting a lot of hugs from us in this pic! :) It was technically her first time being to Yellowstone! :) haha!
We saw a ton of buffalo! It got to a point were we would see one and be like "oh its just another buffalo" haha!
We saw old faithful go off! It was really cool and incredible at how high it actually goes!
We saw a couple of Elk! It was crazy to see how big some of their antlers were!
We surprisingly didn't see that many bears but the few that we did see were so cute! This one is a pic of a mommy bear and her cute little cubs!
It was truly amazing how beautiful the scenery was there! I miss it already! Something about the mountains and the crisp air up there, I just love!
After it rained all day, this beautiful rainbow came out! It was so cool how it went down into the lake! It was beautiful!
My cute sister and dad in front of the gorgeous rapids! This picture looks fake but I promise its not! haha!
Just another pic of our little family! :) My dad kept taking pictures of us and saying this ones for your Christmas card! ha ha! I guess we are going to have to photoshop Emma into our Christmas card this year! ha ha! Just kidding!
We found a nice little river for us to swim in! It was a little chilly at first but we warmed up to it!
The river looks green ha ha it actually was really clear and blue
On our way home! We stopped to view the Teton Mountains! I never realized how huge these mountains actually are!
Me and my mom! I love her :)
Well thats just a little glimpse of our fun weekend with the family in Yellowstone! The best part about it all was being with the family!
Well, I figured I could give a little update on the pregnancy!
We had a doctors check up yesterday and our little girl is doing great! She is one active little girl! She loves kicking, punching, and somersaulting. Pretty much doing whatever she can to make mommy smile! She sure is moving around in there, and I love it so so much! One of my pregnant friends who is going to deliver in a couple weeks told me I won't love it so much when she is up in my ribs moving around and kicking me! ha ha! I'm sure there will come a time when she makes me uncomfortable when she moves around but for right now I absolutely love it!
Alan can really feel her kick now! She already is a Daddy's girl! All he has to do now is put his hand on my stomach and she will give him a little kick! I love seeing his face light up every time he feels her! It is so sweet!! He already is such a good Daddy!
As for me my stomach feels like it grows everyday! I have a little bit of back pains here and there, if I stand on my feet too long they get super sore (aka working at Jamba Juice) ha ha! But other than that I am doing great! I can't really lay on my back anymore. It starts to get sore really fast! And laying on my stomach doesn't hurt but Emma starts kicking me like crazy like "mom give me some room!" ha ha! I feel bad so I don't really lay on my stomach anymore. So I stick to my side. It hasn't been too much of a change for me because thats how I have always slept.
At the last doctors appt. I was told within the next couple weeks my back will start to curve in, and my hips will loosen up, causing me to waddle when I walk, and my lower back to ache a lot more! ha ha! So we will have to see just how I am doing in a few weeks! (A lot more pregnant!) ha ha!
I have loved every minute of the pregnancy! I already love being a mommy to my little girl!
I still try to exercise pretty frequently to stay healthy for myself and of course for my little baby! Overall I couldn't have ask for a better pregnancy so far! I can't help but to fill so blessed to be carrying my little girl! We just cant wait until she gets here! We love our little princess!!
